Refund policy



At Specsathome, we pride ourselves on delivering quality eyewear that meets your needs perfectly. Please carefully consider your purchase, as returns significantly impact small businesses like ours. However, we fully support returns for products with manufacturing defects.

 

30-Day guarantee for manufacturing defects

All Specsathome products, including prescription glasses and sunglasses, come with a 30-day guarantee against manufacturing defects. If your product develops a fault within this period, simply return it to us for inspection and a full refund or replacement.

 

14-day cooling off period

If you decide the frames you ordered aren’t quite right for you, you can return them within 14 days of receipt for a full refund, as per your consumer rights. Please ensure items are unused, returned in their original packaging, and placed within an additional protective shipping box or bag. Please do not attach shipping labels directly to the product packaging.

We do ask, however, that you carefully consider any purchases of non-prescription items (such as sunglasses) before you order. While we can and will honour the cooling-off period, returns have a big impact on our small, family-run business and make it harder for us to remain so competitive on price.

Please note that the cooling-off period does not apply to items that have been personalised – e.g. prescription lenses fitted to the frames. We can only refund or replace prescription items if they are faulty.

 

How to return items

  1. Package your eyewear securely: Ensure items are safely packed in their original packaging and placed within an additional protective shipping box or bag to avoid damage during transit. Do not attach shipping labels directly onto the product packaging. If the product packaging is damaged, we may need to deduct some money from your refund to cover it.

  2. Include essential information: Clearly include your contact details, order number, and reason for return to help us process your refund promptly.

Processing your refund

Upon receipt, we'll inspect your returned item. Once approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method. Please note, processing times vary based on your payment provider.
