Walter & Herbert

Walter & Herbert is one of the few eyewear brands that can genuinely claim to be
made in England - not designed here then built elsewhere, but designed, manufactured and tested in their own English factory. The brand's roots go back to 1946, when founders Walter Conway and Herbert Thorn built a company that went on to shape how spectacle frames were made worldwide. Their prescription glasses collection draws on that heritage with smooth, rounded shapes reminiscent of the 1940s, premium Italian acetate in striking colour combinations, and small details - including the signature bowler hat motif - that reward a closer look. Frame names pay tribute to British icons including Bronte, Churchill and Orwell. Quiet, confident, and entirely their own.
